Rutgers University–Newark is committed to supporting our military service members, veterans, and their dependents in achieving their educational goals both in and out of uniform.

Veteran Affairs Services

As a Yellow Ribbon educational institution, we are accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and provides enrollment certification of education benefits as a core service. If you are a military-affiliated student at Rutgers University–Newark, you will have access to a dedicated office and staff who will help you access and use all the services that Rutgers University–Newark has to offer.

For many years, RU-N has admirably served veterans, members of the Armed Forces, and their dependents who come to pursue their education. I am excited to serve these students and offer many diverse opportunities to help them succeed at every level.
